ABOUT:
Brainpan Innovations brings together an interdisciplinary team of computational scientists, computer scientists, designers, engineers, mathematicians, and medical professionals; who are working to address various challenges in the healthcare industry for developing economies.

There is a huge gap between Life Sciences and other research disciplines. We aim to bridge this gap with Big Data Analytics, High Performance Computing, Machine Learning and Mathematical Modeling. Moreover, we are addressing extremely large scale problems in Life Sciences such as Electronic Health Record for 1.25 billion Indian population and Early Warning System for Epidemics & Pandemics. With our passion and technology, we are determined to save millions of lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As our UI/UX Designer you will create well-structured user flows, wireframes & prototypes in coordination with product managers, developers, & stakeholders. Over the long term, you will be responsible for building and leading a front UI/UX team.

- Creating compelling interaction & user experience design for both, doctors and patients 
- Designing complex websites, mobile apps, user flows, mock ups & wireframes 
- Leading the design of new products and features from the initial idea to global launch 
- Review existing applications & identify improvement opportunities for user experience 
- Make design decisions based on both, usability & metrics 
- Work as part of the product management team & interact with stakeholders & software engineer

SKILLS:

- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, user interface design or a related technical field with at least 1-3 years of experience in similar roles 
- Portfolio demonstrating outstanding interaction design & information architecture skills 
- Profound understanding of user-centered design & HCI principles 
- Excellent skills in UX prototyping, wireframing, & mapping tools 
- Be able to switch between web, mobile, iOS & Android applications
